In this episode, David wants to get a job as a law clerk, but a series of coincidences may result in him losing the job before he gets it. Although reasonably popular, the show rarely ranked in the Top 20 in the ratings, perhaps since ABC-TV was a minor network at the time.

Artistic Masterpiece: ''Howdy Doody'' - 1 April 1952
An artistic masterpiece from the early 1950's, this episode of "Howdy Doody" comes from the 1st of April, 1952. As such, the episode starts with a practical joke which probably annoyed many people. This episode also contains lots of advertising for the sponsors, including Colgate Dental Cream and Kellogg's cereal. Like many TV broadcasts from this period, this episode features some talk about elections, though in a safe and light-hearted manner suited to the program's young audience.

Classic Commercial for Post's Sugar Crisps
A Classic 1950's Commercial for Post's Sugar Crisps. Cheap, but cute. DISCLAIMER: This video does not represent the quality of major Hollywood cartoons of the time. Nor does it represent the quality of major Tele-cartoons of the time ("Clutch Cargo" didn't air until several years after this commercial, so it doesn't count. Then again, "Clutch Cargo" was already crap by the standards of it's time). Heck, it stinks by the standards of most advertising cartoons of the time...

1950's Television: ''You Bet Your Life'' - Secret Word: Voice
An episode of the hugely popular 1950's Television series "You Bet Your Life", featuring the comic talents of Groucho Marx. A "comedic quiz show", much of this program's humor was improvised, although Groucho usually would have a very basic idea on who would appear each episode. Like most 1950's quiz shows, it wasn't rigged, but the scandals involving "Twenty One", "Dotto" and "The $64,000 Question" caused ratings to decline...

An episode of "The Fred Waring Show". This variety show is a mixed bag. The highlight is the fun and entertaining "Autumn in New York" sequence (sadly with some sprocket-hole damage).
